FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Why the name Beechwood?
A: Our 13 acre property contains a forest of large, beautiful Beech trees. ( And it's the pastor's favorite tree.)

Q: What do you wear during your Sunday service?
A: Anything you want. The pastors likes to dress up a little (although they complains about it regularly!) but most people are casual and some even have to come in their work clothes. We turn no one away.

Q: What should I expect at a Sunday Morning service? (11:00)
A: A friendly hello as you arrive, a refreshment if you want, complete anonymity during the service, the availability of the pastor if you would like to talk, a Spirit-filled worship experience that fills your heart, a dynamic message that will speak right into your life, an invitation to come again!
Q: What do you offer for our kids?
A: Everything we need to do to see them grow up to be followers of Jesus! We teach our children to enjoy the worship services with their parents, but a nursery is always available with qualified personnel. Sunday School, Kid's Church, Parenting classes, a free parenting book (God's A-Parent Image) written by our pastor. Additionally we are growing Beechwood Christian Academy (Kindergarten and 1st only; a grade is added each year as we grow our school.)

Q: Do you have opportunities for ministry?
A: Yes! If you are qualified, a member of Beechwood and called of God to a needed position - it's yours!
we are currently looking for a volunteer leader for our Kid's Church (to replace the pastor); a music director (to replace the Executive Pastor whose shoes are hard to fill!); musicians to add to our 7-piece band, or to create other groups; create your own ministry and make it fit our Diamond of Ministry!

Q: Although you are non-denom., what denomination are you closest to?
A: Reformed, Spirit-filled Baptist ... or just Biblical!

Q: What are your beliefs (Doctrinal)?
