| Pastor's Corner
Pastor Shayne representing AARC Missions in Kenya. He is seen here at the home of Pastor Meshak Ouma where his "medical skills" were tested - cleaning and bandaging a 2-year-old girl's infected toe, and relieving a dying elderly man of pain. It took 3 hours of rough driving on washed-out jungle roads to reach this village called Kokore. Pastor Doug and Shayne had to push the bottomed-out little car from the mud in one venture. People in every village would greet them heartily and surround the car wanting to shake hands with the white visitors. In one instance, a crowd gathered and Shayne preached with Bishop Okinda translating in which many received Christ.

Take a Bite! GRACE 1Peter 5:10-11 - The God of all Grace *GRACE is the bridge over which God conducts all of His transactions with redeemed man. Grace is the fullest experience of the Love of God by the object of God's Love. The redeemed are saved by it, live by it, grow by it, know by it, work by it. Grace allows man to know the Creator as He is, without being destroyed or having his mind blown. God hides Himself in Grace. Grace is God's gift of Himself to those who deserve eternal punishment. Grace says, "You don't have to be something or do something because I did and Am everything." Grace cheers us when we miss the shot; just because we tried. Grace accepts us when we have no redeeming quality. Grace blinds God's omniscient eyes to our ugliness. Grace allows us to work from joy not fear. Grace allows every righteous work to be a deposit, not a debit. Grace is a gift we didn't deserve, deserving the exact opposite instead. Grace does not just pardon sins, it justifies the sinner. Grace says to the guilty, "You are innocent." Grace can never be earned, purchased, arrested, stolen or revoked by mortals or angels. Grace allows for mistakes without the need for destruction, or even quitting. Grace never closes its arms, never withdraws its helping hand, never gives up. Grace says, "You couldn't add up so I did for you." Grace says, "I Love you for who you are because I know who I have made you and am making you." Grace says, "No matter what you do - how you abuse Me, fail Me, hate Me - I forgive you." Grace always grows bigger than sin, as to say to sin, "I will never let you conquer me, never get stronger than me, never rob my recipient of me and me of my recipient." Grace is patience. Grace is optimism. Grace is hopefulness. Grace is forgiveness. Grace is unexplainable. Grace is unmerited. Grace is undeserved. Grace is unfair. Grace is scandalous. GRACE IS JESUS. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of Grace and Truth - John 1:14. By, Pastor Shayne Jr.
